Vintage GE240 lounge chair by Hans J. Wegner - solid teak

A very nice, well-maintained, and classic example of Hans J. Wegner's GE240 lounge chair from 1955, manufactured by Getama.

The GE240 series is also known as "The Cigar" due to the shape of the armrest. The lounge chair's frame is made of solid teak wood.

Removable seat and back cushions are made of cold foam, which maintains the shape of the cushion. The lounge chair is upholstered in the finest green Hallingdal wool fabric (70% new wool, 30% viscose) from Kvadrat. The chair's green color is best shown in the first product image.
