It is with great pleasure that we present an interior design project from a summer house in Mols. The client approached the store in Aarhus with a desire for an interior design that could bring life to her newly built summer house. The client had inherited a vintage dining table with six accompanying chairs, which we incorporated.

Her initial crush in the store was the kilim rug, which we placed under the dining table (seen in the image series below). The kilim rug became the cornerstone of the color palette. Nuances of red, blue, and green were then selected from the rug. From there, we chose the following: Armchair H27 in blue wool textile, Armchair P005 in red wool textile, Sofa01 in green wool textile, coffee table c001, and the rainbow rug in teal. The six vintage chairs were restored and reupholstered in the same green textile as the sofa.

With a dark, vintage dining table, the focus was for the sofa arrangement to have a lighter expression, which is why oak was used.
