Handmade seagrass basket with white weave
This handmade seagrass basket is woven with white recycled plastic from a carpet factory in Dakar, giving the basket a calm and decorative look. The basket is suitable for storing e.g. blankets, toys, knitting projects or other small items in the home.
The baskets are Fairtrade produced in Senegal by a women's collective. The production provides the women in the village with an important income and ensures schooling and food for their children. Each basket is unique as it is handmade, and minor variations in colour and pattern may occur.
