We ourselves love our bamboo baskets - especially the material. Bamboo releases more oxygen than all other plants; for example, it releases 35% more oxygen than ordinary tree species. This contributes to bamboo recirculating large amounts of CO2, which is why bamboo as a material contributes positively to CO2 development.
