Sideboards in various materials and designs

We offer sideboards in materials such as solid oak, teak and teak veneer. Each material has its unique properties. Oak is characterized by its durability and timeless elegance, while teak is known for its warm glow and robustness. Sungkai wood is Asia's answer to oak - it is a light wood that is as durable as oak. Sungkai wood has a slightly more reddish hue compared to oak's light appearance.

We offer sideboards in materials such as oak veneer, solid oak and solid teak. We often use a mixture of solid wood and veneer. This is because we want to extend the durability of our furniture. Most often, we make all joints and frames in solid wood. In addition, the large surfaces are made of veneer. The reason for this is that veneer does not move in the same way as solid wood will. Solid wood reacts to the surrounding temperature and humidity, which is why it can warp if it is very cold or very hot, or if the air is very humid or very dry. By making the surface in veneer, we thus extend the life of the furniture, as it is less likely to crack/react.

Our sideboards are designed with a focus on both functionality and aesthetics. You will find everything from classic designs with references to Danish furniture traditions to modern and minimalist expressions.

Treatment of your sideboard

To ensure that your sideboard has a long lifespan, it is important to treat and maintain it correctly.

Our oak and teak sideboards require care to maintain their natural beauty and durability. When cleaning, the surface should be wiped with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid strong detergents, as they can dry out the wood. To maintain the sideboard as best as possible, it is recommended to treat it with wood oil or wax once a year to protect it from drying out and stains. If the sideboard is exposed to a lot of sunlight, it may be necessary to treat it more often.
