Design and flexible production

At No78, we create most of our wooden furniture ourselves. The inspiration comes from elements of minimalist, Scandinavian design combined with the Middle Eastern way of life. The result is furniture with a unique expression.

Our own furniture brand, BY SOL, is primarily produced at our carpentry workshop in Indonesia, which we established in 2006. Here, most furniture is made from both teak and oak, and as much as possible, we also use recycled wood to give the materials new life.

We are also very flexible: all furniture we produce ourselves can be customized to your needs. For example, should the dining table be 10 cm longer or should the dresser have an extra drawer? We can arrange it. We adapt the furniture to your needs and make special orders so you get exactly what you dream of.

Since its opening in 2003, vintage has also been a central part of No78. We love how the patina gives furniture soul and personality. Therefore, we acquire, restore, and reupholster classics by, among others, Hans J. Wegner, Kai Kristiansen, Børge Mogensen, Ib Kofod, and Arne Jacobsen, so they retain their soul and can find new life in new homes.

Our furniture tells stories – through design, materials, and craftsmanship – and we look forward to sharing them with you.
