Møbler med omtanke – en historie om ansvarlighed og håndværk

Furniture with integrity – a story of responsibility and craftsmanship

At No78, we believe in furniture that lasts a lifetime.

We design and produce most of our furniture ourselves under the brand By Sol. This allows us to influence our own supply chain – and thus take responsibility for both quality, working conditions, and the footprint we leave behind.

🔨 At our workshop in Indonesia, skilled craftspeople transform materials into furniture that can last for many years. Proper wages and working conditions are a given – because good environments create better lives.

In Senegal, our seagrass baskets are woven in a women's collective, where the work enables the women to support their families and send their children to school.

🧵 Our jute carpets from India are Care & Fair-certified – ensuring both good conditions for the weavers and access to health and education.

♻️ Responsibility also concerns materials:

✔️ Reclaimed wood and restoration of vintage finds

✔️ Bamboo baskets with integrated recycled plastic

✔️ FLEGT-certified wood.

We know that we cannot save the world alone, but we can take responsibility for the choices we make. And we continue to work to do better. Small steps, in the right direction. 💛
